[Gift] POV: You're Their Least Favorite Patron

"Relax. He's just an asshole. He 'aint worth getting mad over."

"But you being disrespected is."

Diluc kept a protective hand over Poet's back. He started working in the club as a drink keeper and bartender back in December, and it still unnerved him how brazenly awful some people could be. It wasn't just that this guy was being a creep by pushing his boyfriend's boundaries, it's that he was so comfortable doing it at all. Over half  the dancers and staff had reported the guy's gross activity to the management. And Diluc was feeling like it was about time someone did something about it.

"Really babe, don't get yourself in trouble over some jack ass that can't take a hint." Poet ran a reassuing hand over Dee's shoulder. 

"It's literally in my job description, love. I promise I'm not taking it personally. The other dancers have had issues with him too." Diluc was trying hard to temper his anger.

Poet gave him a kiss on the cheek after a long sigh. "Just don't get into too much trouble alright?"

Just as he was about to climb from Diluc's lap to return to the stage, the patron in particular walked himself in.

"There y'are sweetheart! You can't just run off like that!" He'd have been just a smidge charming had it not been fr the festering shit-eating grin plastered across his face.

"Dude, I wouldn't if I were you." One of the other bartenders said, attempting to diffuse a situation before it began. Anotehr tapped their shoulder and shook their head, clearly wanting to see how this played out.

"Oi, shut it! I'm a regular of this establishment, I pay good money!"

Diluc carefully set Poet on the stool beside hi snd stood up. The bartenders took a step back, and somebody hollered for Rev over the din of the music and voices.

The conversation with the club's owner later would be a problem for another day. This current problem was about to stop existing.
